The Resources Committee is responsible for:

Finance - monitoring and allocating financial resources, ensuring the Council gets best value, recommendations to the Town Council about the level of the Council Tax for Banbury, making grants to voluntary organisations, overseeing the work of the Grants and Budget Sub-Committee

Property - looking after the Council’s property, including the development of the Town Hall

Links with other Public bodies - including the County Council and District Council, other government and public bodies. Funding of Woodgreen outdoor swimming pool.

Personnel Matters - all matters relating to employees, including overseeing the work of the Personnel Sub-Committee

Communication with local community:
appointment of representatives to local organisations
