Town Hall Lead Duty Manager

LCP1 SCP 8 (£10.84 per hour)

10 hours per week on an annualised basis

Banbury Town Council has a vacancy for a Lead Duty Manager at the Town Hall, to provide a customer focused service for the hirers of the Town Hall and to ensure that all hire sessions operate efficiently and effectively. You will form part of a small team providing duty management/ caretaking services and minor maintenance requirements at the Town Hall. The majority of the working hours will be evenings or weekends. Work will also be required to assist at Town Events.

The Person:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and flexible person to join our team. The successful applicant must be prepared to work both indoors at our Town Hall and support our annual calendar of events, which are mainly outdoors in all weathers. You should have good communication skills as the role requires interaction with hirers and other members of staff, and be fit and healthy - this role involves moving around furniture and equipment following a hire or event.
