Football
Banbury Town Council manages five full size football pitches, all of which are available for hire.
Pitches can be leased for a season or for one-off matches.
Anyone interested in hiring a football pitch for a season or a one-off match should contact the town council by email on football@banbury.gov.uk for availability and an application form.

Hanwell Fields Recreation Ground
The ground can be accessed from Dukes Meadow Drive.
Two mini soccer pitches are also available for hire for under 16’s. There is one full-size pitch and a pavilion offering changing facilities, with two changing rooms each with en-suite showers and disabled facilities.
Horton View Sports Ground
The ground is off Horton View opposite the post office and shops.
There is one full-size pitch and a pavilion offering changing facilities with two changing rooms, each with en-suite showers. Two mini soccer pitches are also available for hire for under 16’s.
A function room in the pavilion is also available.
Easington Recreation Ground
The ground can be accessed from Easington Road or Harriers View.
It has two full-size pitches and a pavilion with changing facilities consisting of four changing rooms, each with en-suite showers. There is also a mini soccer pitch for under 16’s.
Moorfields Recreation Ground
The ground is off West Street, Grimsbury.
It has one full-size pitch and a pavilion offering changing facilities with two changing rooms, each with en-suite showers.
A mini soccer pitch for under 16’s is available.
Chandos Sports Ground
The ground is off Middleton Road, Grimsbury.
It has one-full size pitch and a pavilion offering changing facilities with two changing rooms with showers.
