
Banbury parks across town are hosting a variety of weekly activities, with residents encouraged to get involved. These include tennis, football, parkruns and more.
While Banbury Town Council does not organise these events directly, it does support each and every programme and is pleased to work with the organisations responsible to host such fantastic opportunities in its parks.

Banbury Parkrun – Click Here
Where: Spiceball Park, Banbury
When: Every Saturday, 9:00am
Cost: FREE
Get active and meet like-minded members of the community with this laid-back weekly run through Spiceball Park.
Banbury Parkrun is completely free to partake in, but requires registration so that organisers can get a good estimation of numbers.

Banbury Junior Parkrun – Click Here
Where: Spiceball Park, Banbury
When: Every Sunday, 9:00am
Cost: FREE
The junior equivalent to the Banbury Parkrun, this event is ideal for children from ages 4-14. It’s an active, engaging and friendly way to start your child’s Sunday, and is sure to open up sporting and social opportunities too.

Banbury Free Park Tennis – Click Here
Where: Tennis Courts, People’s Park, Banbury
When: Every Saturday, 11:00am- 12:00pm
Cost: FREE
Learn tennis from experienced coaches with this exciting programme offered by Banbury Town Council, alongside the Lawn Tennis Association and Barclays.
Free Park Tennis is part of a national movement to introduce more opportunities to play tennis for the general public. These sessions, held every Sunday, are ideal for players of all ages and experience levels.
Banbury Free Park Tennis is also completely free to partake in, but requires registration so that organisers can get a good estimation of numbers.

Come along and enjoy engaging football sessions led by friendly coaches who are there to help you improve your game, stay active, and most importantly, have fun! Whether your child is a beginner or already obsessed with ‘the beautiful game’, everyone is welcome to give it a try!

A great way to get active at a steady pace, Men’s Walking Football is both relaxed and welcoming, with sessions designed for men who want to enjoy a game at a comfortable pace that prioritises ease of movement while still encouraging a healthy lifestyle.
No running means no pressure – the focus is on the enjoyment of the game and improving fitness. A great way to meet new people in a laid-back, supportive environment.
